Provost's Award

The Provost Award is a four-year award that is available to first-time, first-year students with offers of admission to Penn State University Park campus. Pennsylvania and non-Pennsylvania residents are considered for this award, as well as international students, and it is very competitive. This award is not available to students enrolled in an Associate degree program or for transfer students.

There is no additional application to be considered for the Provost Award. We evaluate students for this award based on your admission and financial aid information. While other forms of financial aid can be combined with the Provost Award, the Provost and Discover Awards cannot be combined.

Big or small, Penn State has it all! Not only will students save on their Penn State degree by studying at a campus, they have smaller class sizes and hands-on academic engagement supported by faculty and staff across the state. The unique partnerships available at every campus support career exploration, civic engagement, and leadership development for Penn State students.
