Students in the surveying engineering program, the only one of its kind in Pennsylvania, benefit from networking with industry professionals, the Surveying Society student organization, and attending state and national professional conferences, gaining real-world experience.

Students are committed to giving back through collection of clothing, food and personal care items, participation in blood drives, Penn State’s THON and other service projects that positively impact our community.

Our scenic campus and the surrounding area are the ideal setting for student life outside of the classroom. You can connect with each other, the community and with the outdoors through a variety of student clubs and organizations, the Leadership Academy and athletic programs.

Wilkes-Barre's scenic campus is the ideal setting for the Four Seasons Club. Members engage in outdoor activities, including bonfires, whitewater rafting, and hiking trips, making the most of the outdoors all year long.

Students enjoy our Athletics and Recreation Building, featuring a variety of fitness and training options.

The Friedman Observatory, the first in Luzerne County, is a place of discovery for both the campus and the community. The power of technology and faculty expertise come together, opening doors to exploration of the universe through educational experiences.

The Friedman Art Gallery showcases student, local, and private collections, promoting artists from Penn State Wilkes-Barre and the community. Students enjoy fresh, innovative artwork as part of their campus experience.
