International Students FAQs

Once students have received an offer of admission from Penn State and paid acceptance fees, the International Student and Scholar Advising (ISSA) will start a file for issuing the appropriate visa eligibility document. ISSA will contact students via email with the next steps of the process. Please visit Penn State Global for more information on steps to take prior to arriving at Penn State.

Financial information including for international students can be found through Penn State Global and includes information on Financial Aid and Scholarships. There is, at this time, essentially no financial aid available for international undergraduate students. U.S. Citizenship or legal permanent residency is a requirement for federal student aid.
