YORK, Pa. — Mark your calendar and plan to attend the Penn State Day Open House at the York campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center). Meet faculty, staff, and students, tour the campus, and discover more about Penn State right here in York. The open house is free and open to the public.
Learn about Penn State York’s programs, from the first two years of more than 275 Penn State majors to the 12 baccalaureate degrees, including the newest degree programs: information technology, cybersecurity analytics and operations, corporate communication, and project and supply chain management, all of which can be completed without leaving York. The campus also offers five associate degrees, a master of education in teaching and curriculum, a variety of minors, and credit certificates.
Through the 2+2 program, students can begin at the York campus and finish their degree at University Park or another Penn State campus.
Penn State York is a military-friendly campus, and veterans can use their benefits to earn a Penn State degree.
Guests attending the open house have an opportunity to talk with a faculty member and discover more about specific Penn State majors, as well as learn about the application process, financial aid, and student life at the York campus.
The campus offers six collegiate sports so students can continue to play the sport they love. Information is also available on a variety of credit and noncredit programs and services offered to adults employed in business and industry though continuing education.
The open house schedule includes academic and area of interest break-out sessions, a walking tour of campus, and more. Discover the Graham Fellows Program for Entrepreneurial Leadership (Graham Fellows Program) (https://york.psu.edu/academics/special-programs/graham-fellows-program) and learn how to become a part of this exciting program unique to the campus. Tour the new Graham Center for Innovation and Collaboration (The Graham Center), home to the Graham Fellows Program and the Center for Inclusive Leadership (CIL).
Penn State York also offers an honors program for students with outstanding academic ability, and undergraduate research opportunities for students with an interest in hands-on experience in research. There is a lot happening at Penn State York.
