ALTOONA, Pa. — Several Penn State Altoona performing arts groups will hold auditions over the first few weeks of the fall 2024 semester. Auditions are open to all Penn State Altoona students.
Ivyside Pride, the college's choral group, will hold auditions from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Students must sign up for a 15-minute audition time by emailing Ivyside Pride Director Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber at bbc10@psu.edu. During the audition, students will sing some vocal warmups and then a song of their choice. They may sing a cappella, with a track, or bring sheet music for accompaniment.
Auditions for a fall 2024 theater production will be held from 12:05 to 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Callbacks will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. The production is directed by Leila McCrumb, lim5331@psu.edu.
