UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State students, faculty, and staff, as well as local community members ages 18 and older, are encouraged to attend a free bike safety 101 workshop from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the Bike Den on University Park campus.
The workshop will teach participants the rules of the road and bike safety skills before bringing the group outside to a beginner-friendly course to practice.
All participants must bring a bike and helmet to participate. Participants will receive a free pair of Penn State bike lights.
Preregistration is required by Tuesday, April 23, and can be done online at the Penn State Transportation Services website at Bike Safety 101 | Transportation (psu.edu).
The Bike Den is located on the ground floor of the West Deck at University Park campus.
