UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), part of Penn State University Libraries, is accepting proposals for the 2025 TLT Symposium. Open to Penn State faculty and staff, the event showcases ways technology can enhance teaching and learning in higher education. Attendees will share unique ways they use technology, network with colleagues, and generate new project ideas.

The 2025 TLT Symposium invites proposals submitted by University faculty demonstrating valuable and innovative uses of technology to support teaching and learning. This year, proposals are welcome from everyone with an interest in sharing content from one of five tracks:

  1. Artificial Intelligence
  2. Student Learning and Success
  3. Instructional Approaches and Pedagogy
  4. Immersive Experiences
  5. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Affordability

Within the topical tracks there will be a designation for World Campus presentations.

To help ensure proposals are impactful, interested faculty may attend any of the proposal webinars to learn how to design a proposal for the best chance of being accepted. All webinars will be held online via Zoom. Registration is required to attend one of the sessions below:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1-1:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 17, 1-1:30 p.m.

The request for proposals is open now through Nov. 4. Submitters of selected presentations will be notified in January.
