UNIVERSITY PARK Pa. — All current employees and retirees enrolled in a Penn State health plan and their immediate family members are eligible to use University Health Services (UHS) Pharmacy, regardless of campus location. Revenue generated by the pharmacy goes directly to Student Affairs programs and services.

The UHS Pharmacy, located in 202 Student Health Center at University Park, provides prescription services, both acute and maintenance medications, flu vaccinations, over-the-counter medications and health care products to Penn State employees and their dependents. The pharmacy is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the academic year.

The pharmacy is staffed with nationally certified professionals who are available to answers questions in-person or by phone. Services include delivery, curbside and in-person pick-up, and refill options that make managing prescriptions convenient. The pharmacy accepts Lion Cash, health savings card payments, cash, check, debit or credit cards. Online bill pay options will be available in the coming months.

Opting for on-campus delivery allows employees the convenience of receiving their prescriptions at their office, for free, at all campus locations. In addition, employees can receive either a 30- or 90-day supply at UHS Pharmacy instead of only a 30-day supply at national retailers. Delivery by mail is available in Pennsylvania with a $4 monthly shipping and handling fee. Schedule II narcotics cannot be mailed but can be picked up in-person with valid government identification.

Penn State staff and faculty who would like to start filling prescriptions with the UHS Pharmacy should complete the Pharmacy Employee/Retiree Enrollment Form or call a customer service representative at 814-865-4UHS (4847) (option 1). Employees can find more information for first-time pharmacy customers and the Pharmacy Employee Enrollment Form on the UHS Pharmacy Employee webpage.
