UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Registration is now open for the Center for Arts and Crafts September classes and workshops. Classes begin the week of Sept. 11 and include wheel-thrown pottery, dance, zentagle and Madhubani art, stained glass, painting and more. A variety of workshops are also available.
All classes are designed for beginners and intermediates and are taught by Penn State students majoring in art or art education, graduate students and professional artists. Class sizes are small, and classes are offered in a relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to in-person classes, the center offers various themed art boxes and a take-and-make coloring-book kit to create projects at home. Kits can be reserved by emailing craftcenter@psu.edu.
In-person classes and take-home kits are open to Penn State students, faculty and staff, and attendees must have a valid Penn State ID.
