Center for Arts and Crafts Artists and Instructors Exhibition

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The HUB-Robeson Galleries are hosting the Center for Arts and Crafts (CFAC) Artist and Instructor Exhibition. The exhibition features the artwork of instructors and students at the CFAC from various classes and workshops. The work has been on showcase since March 25 and can be viewed in the exhibition cases on the first floor of the HUB through June 8.

Each year the CFAC exhibition offers an opportunity to explore craft materials and techniques and examine the ways in which artists influence and inspire one another. The work showcases not only the significance of craft, but the built relationships with artists at all levels, which provide a platform that amplifies the ideas and voices of those working with craft materials and practices.

The Center for Arts and Crafts offers a variety of non-credit adult classes and workshops throughout the year. Their programs are designed to encourage the discovery and development of creative skills within a comfortable and relaxed space for beginners to intermediates. Classes and workshops at CFAC are taught by Penn State students majoring in art or art education, students in other majors with specific skills and passions, and professional artists. In person registration will open at the end of the spring 2025 semester for May art classes.
