UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Career Services will host its annual Education Career Day on Monday, April 7, at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center, providing students and alumni the opportunity to connect with school districts, educational organizations, and other employers in the field of education.
The event, open to all Penn State students and alumni interested in education-related careers, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and will feature representatives from school districts and organizations across Pennsylvania and beyond. Attendees will have the chance to network with recruiters, explore full-time and internship opportunities, and learn about hiring trends in education.
“Education Career Day is an excellent opportunity for students and alumni to engage with potential employers and take the next step in their careers,” said Marissa Sprankle, assistant director at Career Services, a unit in the division of Student Affairs. “We encourage attendees to come prepared with resumes and questions to make the most of their experience.”
In addition to the career fair, on-site interviews with select employers will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and research participating organizations in advance.
Pre-registration for students and alumni is not required. More information, including a list of attending employers and preparation resources, is available on the Career Services website.
