UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Career Services and the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences invite students of all majors to attend the Impact and Earth and Mineral Sciences Career Fair on March 14.
The Impact and Earth and Mineral Sciences Career Fair brings together about 30 employers from energy business, geoscience, geography, nonprofit, humanitarianism, conservation, policy and research industries.
“Students who are interested in making a positive impact on the world through humanitarian, conservation, international development, policy, research, advocacy and community enhancement should plan to attend the career fair,” said Kevin Fleck, a career counselor for the Ryan Family Student Center in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.
The fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 14 on the sixth floor of the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub, located at 123 S. Burrowes St.
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences’ Alumni Association will have alumni available to help coach students prior to meeting with the employers.
Students are advised to prepare a resume and research the employers that are attending beforehand. A directory of employers can be found on the Nittany Lion Careers website. Career Services can review students’ resumes during its drop-in service.
