This week's top stories from across Penn State:

MILITARY FRIENDLY: Sixteen Penn State campuses were dubbed "Military Friendly Schools" in a recent Victory Media survey.

BENEFITS ENROLLMENT: Benefits Open Enrollment is underway for Penn State employees, running through Nov. 20.

NEW ALUMNI LEADER: Paul Clifford was named CEO of the Penn State Alumni Association and associate vice president of alumni relations for the University.

CREAMERY WEBSITE: The Penn State Berkey Creamery launched its redesigned website featuring a new e-commerce platform that allows Creamery fans to have the taste of Penn State delivered to their door.

TUFT & NEEDLE: Penn State alumni John-Thomas Marino and Daehee Park used their knack for problem solving to build a company that flouts conventions of the traditional mattress industry.

STAND UP: Nominations kicked off for the 9th annual Stand Up Awards in recognition of undergraduate students who have demonstrated ethical leadership in taking a stand for a person, cause or belief.

COW TEST: Troy Ott, professor of reproductive physiology in the College of Agricultural Sciences, is developing a blood test that dairy farmers and livestock veterinarians can use to tell whether a cow failed to conceive after insemination.

TOURNEY WIN: The women's soccer team won its sixth Big Ten Tournament, defeating Rutgers on Nov. 8.
