BARRON APLU COMMISSION CHAIR: Penn State President Eric Barron was named chairman of the Commission on Innovation, Competitiveness and Economic Prosperity for the Association of Public Land-grant Universities (APLU).

MILITARY APPRECIATION: From partnerships to priority scheduling to navigating GI Bill benefits to earning credit for military experience, Penn State works with active-duty military and veterans to make a high-quality education accessible and attainable from anywhere in the world.

WATER QUALITY: Volunteers collected water samples in October as part of the annual Snapshot Day, an event organized by Penn State researchers and Trout Unlimited to help us better understand baseline water quality in Pennsylvania.

VIRAL COMEDY: Former Penn State tackle Anthony Adams has caught the eye of YouTubers, Chicago Bears fans and Penn Staters alike in recent years with a series of comedic viral videos, each giving a look at different perspectives in sports.

PRICE INCREASE: Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics announced that 2018 season football tickets will increase by $35, marking the first season-ticket price increase since the 2009 season.
