Tau Epsilon Phi president nationally recognized

Greg Tornambe, president of Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity (TEP), was named Most Outstanding Chancellor by Tau Epsilon Phi National Fraternity at its recent national meeting. Tornambe is a junior geography major from Scranton and was elected president after one semester as a brother. Tornambe said that the friendships he found at TEP changed his view of fraternities and motivated him to represent his brothers in a positive light. “It makes you feel good to know you helped dispel the entire stigma attached with fraternity life,” said Tornambe. “The award really means a lot to me and has helped me to realize that others really did recognize my efforts.” Along with the title, Tornambe’s award came with a $1,000 scholarship. The Epsilon Phi chapter of TEP was founded in 1962 at Penn State and is a member of the Interfraternity Council. The fraternity seeks to provide continuous service to the community.
