The Penn State Veterans Organization (PSUVO) hosted their annual Veterans Day ceremony on the steps of Old Main beginning at the 11th hour of Nov. 11, 2021. The origins of Veterans Day come from the official ending of World War I. On Nov. 11, 1918, an armistice between the U.S.-led Allies and Germany went into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
