As 2020 comes to an end, Penn State New Kensington reflects on a year that has shown how the campus community is appreciative of everyone who helps promote a student- and community-focused environment no matter the circumstances.

Thanks to its dedicated students, faculty, staff, alumni and partners, the New Kensington campus was able to do such things as provide extra support for students during the pandemic through its “Nittany Neighbors” program; showcase the commitment of biomedical engineering technology program alumni helping to keep hospitals running; host a unique and safe new student orientation program; leverage technology to virtually unveil the Digital Foundry at New Kensington; collect more than 1,000 items for a student-athlete-organized community food drive; and mask up and follow health guidelines to keep each other safe.

The campus looks, with optimism, to an upcoming new year filled with ongoing pride, student achievement and community partnership where everyone truly comes together as the “we” in, “We Are!”
