UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus will be lit in light blue and yellow — the colors of the Ukrainian flag — from 6 p.m. to midnight on both Wednesday, March 2, and Thursday, March 3, as a sign of Penn State’s support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

The lighting coincides with a rally hosted by Penn State’s Ukrainian Society and Russian Club in support of Ukraine from 5-7 p.m. on March 3 at the Old Main Plaza. The rally will include information about the war in Ukraine and current fundraising efforts; speeches, poetry and songs to highlight the richness of Ukrainian culture; and a candlelight remembrance for Ukrainian soldiers.

More information about the rally and the Penn State Ukrainian Society’s fundraising efforts can be found on the society’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
