Penn State colleagues: As we close out 2022, I just want to say "thank you." I am in awe of your talent, your dedication and your many outstanding achievements and contributions. 

You are making a difference. You are making a difference in the lives of our students, and you’re making the world a better place. I am so, so grateful to be part of this special community.

As the business of the semester and the year wind down, I hope that all of you can set aside a little time -- time to strengthen the ties with your families, your friends and your communities. The holiday season can also be a time of stress, and I hope you’re able to set aside some time for self-care, as well.

I wish each of you a happy and healthy New Year. See you in 2023!
