UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Smeal College of Business inducted its latest class of Hammond Society members and the recipients of its 2025 Alumni Awards Thursday night (March 27) in the Business Building Atrium.
“Smeal alumni truly demonstrate the 'We Are' spirit that Penn State is so well known for,” said Corey Phelps, the John and Karen Arnold Dean of Smeal.
“Our alumni’s influence on the Smeal community is as varied as it is impactful. We are continually grateful for those contributions. I’m honored to be part of a celebration that recognizes a group of individuals who have noteworthy professional achievements, as well as those who selflessly continue to volunteer their time and talents.”
The Smeal Alumni Society Board of Directors recognizes those who demonstrate leadership and service, work to further diversity and sustainability efforts, and attain outstanding career achievements, which enhance the prestige of the college.
Nominations are solicited annually from Smeal faculty, staff, students and alumni.
