UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — To help prepare students entering the certified public accountant profession, Penn State’s Smeal College of Business has announced its collaboration with the Deloitte Foundation in the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program.
The Deloitte Foundation program, now in its fourth year, has expanded to include 25 participating colleges and universities, including Penn State Smeal, to fund scholarships for students pursuing a fifth-year master’s degree in accounting, master of tax or master of accounting with a concentration in audit, advisory or tax. DFASP participating schools and the Deloitte Foundation will cover 100% of tuition and fees (excluding books and living expenses) for selected students.
Ten Smeal students have received scholarship support for the 24-25 academic year.
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are available now, with scholarships granted in 2025. Interested students should apply for admission to Smeal, and then separately apply to be considered for the DFASP by clicking here. Applications should be submitted no later than April 1, 2025.
Each school will select the scholarship recipients.
