UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Office of Postdoctoral Affairs has announced the 15th annual postdoctoral research symposium, highlighting timely themes of diversity, equity, agency and mental health, along with the best work of postdoctoral scholars and fellows. This unique event for early-career researchers and their champions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, in Heritage Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park.
Morning sessions will include "taboo topics" related to negotiating and advancing in male-dominated fields, in addition to finding one's voice, extracurricular engagement, and research related to mental health apps. The afternoon will feature a poster session and short research talks.
