UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Institutes of Energy and the Environment announced a call for poster and lightning talk proposals for Energy Days 2019. The conference, which brings together professionals working in and with the energy sector, will occur May 29-30 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center.

Undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, extension educators and faculty are encouraged to submit posters for a poster session focused on energy. Many conference attendees will be interested in learning about the innovative and world-class energy research occurring at Penn State. All posters will be preserved for future viewing online in a web archive. The deadline to submit poster proposals is March 15. Posters will not be due until May 22.

Researchers, extension educators and faculty members also are encouraged to submit lightning talk proposals. These brief, five-minute overviews can highlight research, projects, facilities and equipment, or other energy-related topics. Lightning talks will be delivered on May 29 as a part of day-one activities. The deadline to submit lightning talk proposals is March 15.
