UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Climate Solutions Symposium has announced a call for climate-related posters. Undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, extension educators, staff, faculty and symposium attendees are encouraged to present posters at an in-person poster session focused on climate solutions.
The deadline for poster registration is 5 p.m. on May 7, and space is limited. Posters presented at other events are welcome.
Symposium attendees will learn about the innovative interdisciplinary climate solutions research occurring at Penn State. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to share their climate-related projects with a wide audience, including industry, government, NGOs (non-governmental organizations) and academia.
The Climate Solutions Symposium will be held May 14 and 15 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. In addition to the poster session, the two-day event will highlight innovations from numerous disciplines through plenaries and panels, breakout sessions and keynote talks from leaders in the climate solutions space. The event also features opportunities for attendees to network with like-minded individuals who are seeking climate solutions as collaborators, funders or implementers.
Questions about the Climate Solutions Symposium or the poster call can be sent to climate@psu.edu. The Penn State Climate Consortium is organizing the symposium.
