WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — An organization dedicated to women in the collision repair industry has awarded a scholarship to a Pennsylvania College of Technology student.

Izzy S. Povod, of Palm Coast, Florida, was one of 30 individuals nationwide honored with a Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Student Tuition and Conference Scholarship Award. A dean’s list student, Povod received $2,500 toward tuition and a $500 tool grant.

She is a sophomore seeking an associate degree in collision repair technology.

As an award recipient, Povod is eligible to participate in WIN’s monthly mentoring program. Through group calls, students share best practices with peers and industry professionals.

“These networking groups will support new female entrants to the collision repair field and hopefully create lifetime friendships that further WIN goals for longer-term career advancement and retention,” said Laura Kottschade, the 2024 chair of the WIN Student Relations Committee.
