UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Instructors teaching summer 2022 undergraduate courses at Penn State's University Park campus can now request to schedule online course exams in the Pollock Testing Center.
The eTesting Lab within the Pollock Testing Center administers online undergraduate course exams through Canvas. This service is available to University Park instructors of any rank or position, including graduate student instructors.
Instructors request space in the Pollock Testing Center on particular dates. Students enrolled in the course select a time convenient for their schedules on the dates designated by the instructor. After checking in, students have access to their course exam. More information on the exam process is available on the Pollock Testing Center’s website.
Instructors who wish to schedule an exam can do so on the exam scheduling webpage. Questions may be directed to etest@psu.edu. The Pollock Testing Center will be open this summer from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays when courses are in session and during these same hours on June 24 and Aug. 9 (during finals for Summer I and Summer II sessions, respectively).
The Testing Center also houses Scanning Services, which processes multiple-choice paper exam sheets. Scanning Services also will be available for instructors.
The Pollock Testing Center is administered by the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence, which is part of Penn State Undergraduate Education.
