Sokolov-Miller Family Center to present webinar on financial goal-setting

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The first February webinar from the Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will focus on how people can develop successful and achievable goals in their financial life.

Termed SMART Goals — which stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely — the experts at the Sokolov-Miller Family Center will walk webinar watchers through the steps needed to gain control of their financial lives, then set long- and short-term goals.

Learn about SMART Goals from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 12 by using this Zoom link. All webinars offered through the center are free to all members of the Penn State community.

Additionally, self-study modules are available here from “MoneyCounts: A Penn State Financial Literacy Series.”

The next webinar, focusing on saving and investing, is scheduled for noon Feb. 26.
