CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Penn State Lehigh Valley will offer three pre-college programs this summer to help students prepare for the SAT exam and college admission process. Taught by Penn State instructors, the courses are designed to help test takers learn proven techniques by practicing sample questions, reviewing essential skills and concepts, writing an effective college admission essay, and much more.
SAT Verbal, Critical Reading and Writing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22.
SAT Math will be held from 4-6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 7, 9, 14, 16, 21 and 23.
Writing the College Application Essay will be held from 4-6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 7, 9, 14 and 16. There will also be an early fall offering for this course being held from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturdays, Sept. 22 and 29, as well as 4-6 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 27 and Oct. 4.
The courses will be held at the Center Valley campus. The SAT Verbal and Math courses are $109 each, while the Writing the College Application Essay course is $129. All course materials are covered in the cost.
