CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn Staters are invited to a festive opportunity at the Lehigh Valley campus to celebrate the holiday season. The Nittany Lion’s Holiday Party starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Lehigh Valley campus. Attendees will enjoy a visit by Santa Claus from the North Pole, arts and crafts, face painting, jolly music, and hot chocolate, cookies and fresh fruit. The event, hosted by the Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society, will end at 1 p.m.

A professional photographer will be on-site for children to get pictures with Santa and the Nittany Lion. The cost to attend is $10. Tickets are needed for children age 2 and up. Each child is permitted two adult guests free of charge. Photo prints will be available for purchase from the photographer’s website following the event.

“We look forward to celebrating this special time of year with our Nittany Lion cubs,” said Diane McAloon, director of alumni relations at Penn State Lehigh Valley. “We invite families, parents and grandparents to join in the fun with their little ones and add some PSU fun to their holiday season.”
