CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Actor, screenwriter, filmmaker, and Lehigh Valley native Daniel Roebuck will return to his roots for “Past, Present, and Future,” a special presentation at Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSU-LV).
Roebuck will be on campus on Friday, Nov. 15, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in room 135 at PSU-LV, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley. His appearance is sponsored by PSU-LV’s Business Society. The event is free and open to the public.
During his talk, Roebuck will share some highlights from his career journey, offer insights into the business side of filmmaking and give attendees a sneak preview of his upcoming projects, "The Hail Mary" and "Saint Nick of Bethlehem," both of which were filmed in the Lehigh Valley.
Members of the PSU-LV Business Society are looking forward to Roebuck’s presentation to learn not only what it’s like to be in front of the camera, but what happens behind the scenes.
“The business society is excited to host Mr. Roebuck because he is an entrepreneur and promotes the Lehigh Valley through his movies,” said Shreya Kokila, president of the Business Society. “We are hoping attendees get a glimpse of the difficulties of making a movie and the drive and motivation needed to make their dreams come true. "
Roebuck was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He made his screen debut in the teen comedy film "Cavegirl" and appeared in blockbusters like "The Fugitive," "U.S. Marshals," "Final Destination," and "Agent Cody Banks" as well as guest roles on TV shows including "Matlock," "Lost," and "NYPD Blue," and several stage roles.
