UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With a 3-1 victory over No. 2-ranked Nebraska on Nov. 29 at Rec Hall, the No. 4 women's volleyball team clinched a share of the Big Ten title.
The conference title marks Penn State's 18th Big Ten crown in program history. The Nittany Lions finished with 29-2 regular season record.
Penn State received the No. 3 overall seed for the NCAA women's volleyball tournament and is the top seed in its region.
The Nittany Lions will host the first and second rounds at Rec Hall on Dec. 6 and 7. Penn State will face Delaware State in its first-round matchup at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6.
Penn State is in the NCAA tournament for the 44th consecutive season. It is the only program in the nation to play in all 44 Division I championships since the inaugural event in 1981.
