Women's soccer coach Erica Dambach notches 300th career win

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Erica Dambach, head coach of the Penn State women's soccer team, celebrated her 300th career victory as the No. 8-ranked Nittany Lions defeated West Virginia on Aug. 24.

Penn State's 2-1 victory in Morgantown, West Virginia, brought Dambach's individual career record to 300-118-29. Since becoming head coach at Penn State in 2007, she has tallied a 260-89-26.

Dambach, a native of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, has tallied 16 consecutive NCAA Tournament bids, 11 Big Ten regular season championships, five Big Ten Tournament championships, two NCAA Women's College Cup nods, and the 2015 NCAA Championship.

Dambach is the winningest women's soccer coach in Big Ten Conference history, boasting a 0.728 career winning percentage at Penn State.
