Women's hockey clinches regular season title

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State women's ice hockey team clinched the College Hockey America (CHA) regular season title with its win over the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) on Feb. 16.

The Lions defeated the Tigers 5-3 to secure their second straight CHA regular season title. Penn State completes the regular season with a 19-12-3 record.

Penn State will face RIT again for the CHA postseason tournament as the No. 1-seeded Lions face off against the No. 4-seeded Tigers at 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at Pegula Ice Arena at University Park for a best-of-three semifinal.
