UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With a dominating 29-9 performance against Illinois on Feb. 16 at Rec Hall, the Penn State wrestling team clinched the 2025 Big Ten regular season championship.

Penn State is now 14-0 and 8-0 in conference as it concludes the Big Ten portion of its dual schedule.

This year's regular season crown is the 11th in Penn State history — all since head coach Cael Sanderson's arrival — and the Nittany Lions' fifth straight.

Penn State will close out its dual meet season at home on Feb. 21 when it hosts American University at 7 p.m. at Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions will then head to the 2025 Big Ten Wrestling Championships March 8-9 at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
