UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The No. 5-ranked men's lacrosse team clinched a share of the Big Ten regular season title with a win over No. 11 Rutgers on April 21.

As part of its 14-5 win over Rutgers, Penn State also claimed the Friendship Cup — a trophy the Nittany Lions and Scarlet Knights compete for each year.

Penn State has earned a first-round bye in the Big Ten lacrosse tournament, and will advance to the semifinals, which are set for May 4 in Baltimore, Maryland. Game time will be announced.
