UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Web-based training courses for PSUbuy, Penn State’s new procure-to-pay system, are now open on the Learning Resource Network (LRN).
PSUbuy will replace Shop OnLion on Nov. 12. All shoppers will be required to complete training before gaining access to the system. In addition to web-based training, live training also will be offered monthly.
Like Shop OnLion, PSUbuy will be part of the SIMBA environment. Credentialed Penn State employees will be able to access PSUbuy through SIMBA tiles.
Important Dates:
- Oct. 14: Web-based training courses open on the LRN.
- Oct. 30: Shopping closes and Purchase Order Change Forms are due by 4 p.m.
- Nov. 5: Carts must be converted into purchase orders, and Goods Confirmations are due by 4 p.m.
- Nov. 6-7: System and Procurement cleanup activities are completed.
- Nov. 8-11: Conversion and implementation activities are completed.
- Nov. 12: PSUbuy launches.
To prepare for the transition, PSUbuy users are encouraged to:
- Search for “PSUbuy” in the LRN for pre-go-live training courses for shoppers and approvers.
- Attend the PSUbuy Update And Office Hours event on Oct. 22 from 2-3 p.m. Register in advance.
- Join the PSUbuy Change Network to stay informed about announcements, events and other important information.
- Watch for email communications from procurement@psu.edu.
