UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Get your garden ready for winter and find out more about canning the vegetables you grew on WPSU’s “Conversations Live,” airing Thursday, Sept. 29. 

"Conversations Live: Gardening and Canning" will feature Elsa Sánchez, professor of horticulture systems management, Tom Butzler, horticultural educator from Penn State Extension, and Richard Kralj, food safety and quality educator from Penn State Extension. The three will talk about topics including preserving produce and other foods and putting your garden to bed for the season.

The episode airs at 8 p.m. on WPSU-TV and WPSU-FM, and online at live.wpsu.org. It will also be available on-demand on WPSU’s YouTube channel and the PBS streaming app.
