Penn State Hershey PRO Wellness Center, together with the Kohl’s Cares Hospital Program and Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, is hosting a video contest for families, schools and organizations in an effort to:
-- Recognize community efforts to help reduce the trend of childhood obesity;
-- Encourage healthy eating and physical activity;
-- Highlight the work of families, communities and organizations engaged in promoting the PRO Wellness Center message of bringing healthy choices to life; and
-- Increase participation in community efforts to prevent childhood obesity.
Participants have a chance to win a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or iPad mini. You don't need fancy video equipment to qualify. Just create a fun video that has a clear connection to childhood obesity prevention and describes how the contestants entering have worked to incorporate healthy eating, physical activity or limited screen time at home or in school(s), congregation(s) or community(ies). Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. May 31.
