College of Health and Human Development names summer 2023 college marshal

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Aleah Gramling, daughter of Erik and Michelle Gramling of Fort Irwin, California, will serve as the college marshal for the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State’s summer commencement ceremony on Aug. 12. She will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in recreation, park and tourism management and a minor in sport studies.

Gramling was a member of the Alliance Christian Fellowship where she volunteered her time towards community service. She was the recipient of the President’s Freshman Award, the President Sparks Award, the Evan Pugh Scholar Award, and the Fred M. Coombs Scholarship.

She is a graduate of Elizabethtown High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. After graduation, Gramling plans to pursue a career with Morale, Welfare and Recreation, a quality-of-life program that directly supports readiness by providing a variety of community, soldier and family support activities and services for the U.S. military.
