In partnership with Adobe, Penn State provides access to Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) at no additional cost to all Penn State students and faculty members. Among the over 20 industry-leading creative tools included in Adobe CC suite of products are PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere, Spark and more.
For students, Adobe CC will help develop critical thinking, enhance collaboration, and provide the digital fluency skills needed to join the future workforce. For faculty, Adobe CC will allow them to teach without software access barriers and add new tools to their teaching toolbox.
Students will have free access to Adobe CC as long as they are enrolled at Penn State.
"Offering Adobe Creative Cloud at no charge furthers Penn State's commitment to providing a world class education. These tools will help our students express themselves creatively and allow them to deepen their digital fluency – another way to differentiate themselves as they graduate and move into the 21st century workforce," said Michael Kubit, vice president for Information Technology and chief information officer for Penn State.
Since the start of this partnership in fall 2017, over 25,000 members of the Penn State community have downloaded Adobe CC. For more information, including how to download and install Adobe CC along with training resources for the suite of applications, please go to http://adobe.psu.edu/.
