HAZLETON, Pa. — Penn State Hazleton invites community members to visit campus for a family-friendly Egg Hunt from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 3. Registration for the free event is strongly encouraged and can be completed by filling out a brief form.
The evening will also feature games and activities, a donation drive benefiting the Hazleton Animal Shelter, and photos with the Easter Bunny and Nittany Lion. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
“Penn State Hazleton is thrilled to once again host our community at our annual Egg Hunt for an exciting evening of fun and family,” Regional Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer Elizabeth J. Wright said. “We look forward to seeing everyone on campus on April 3.”
The event will be held in the Dr. Thomas M. Caccese Gymnasium of the Physical Education Building. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Children will wander through the display and collect eggs. The egg hunt is open to children, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Attendees who want to participate in the Hazleton Animal Shelter donation drive are welcome to bring dog and cat food, litter, new toys, blankets, or linens and paper towels; gift cards and monetary donations will also be accepted.
The event is sponsored by the Penn State Hazleton Lion Ambassadors, the Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, the Penn State Hazleton Alumni Society, and Amazon AVP1.
