Penn State Harrisburg celebrates fall 2024 commencement

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg hosted its fall 2024 commencement ceremony on Dec. 21 to mark the graduates of the Class of 2024’s completion of their academic experience and to recognize their many accomplishments. The ceremony was held at the Giant Center in Hershey.

Penn State Harrisburg alumna Jennifer Homendy, chair of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, delivered the keynote address. Sheetal Patangay, who received a master of science degree in information systems, served as the student speaker.

Student marshals for the fall ceremony were: Allison Ishler (School of Behavioral Sciences and Education), Willow Marsh (School of Business Administration), Elise Heilman (School of Humanities), Erin Merced (School of Public Affairs), Chunyu Lu (School of Science, Engineering, and Technology), and Victoria Williams (J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School).
