Former Lady Lion appointed assistant director of development

The captain of the Penn State women's basketball team that reached the Final Four of the 2000 NCAA Tournament has been appointed assistant director of development at Penn State Harrisburg. Marissa Graby Hoover, a 2000 graduate of the University with a degree in elementary education, excelled both in the classroom and on the basketball court during her years at Penn State. She earned the Academic Achievement Award for the highest grade-point average on the team for three years as well as being honored as a three-time GTE Academic All-American.
