MALVERN, Pa. — Penn State Great Valley alumna Rina Desai, principal/owner of Eigen X, a professional services firm focused on data and technology, will address graduates at the Great Valley commencement ceremony on May 9.
As principal and owner at Eigen X and Eigen X Federal, Rina Desai is a visionary digital transformation and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience. She works alongside senior executives to strategize, implement and commercialize cutting-edge technology solutions that drive real impact. With expertise spanning life sciences, nonprofit organizations, higher education and telecommunications, Desai excels at aligning people, processes and technology to deliver practical, results-driven solutions.
Desai co-founded Trifactor, a women-owned technology company, and she previously held positions at GE, AmeriGas Propane, Tata Consulting Services and SMART Business Consulting. Desai completed her MBA at Penn State Great Valley in 2007 and has worked on projects in various industries.
Desai has volunteered on the executive leadership team for STEM Goes Red, an initiative of the American Heart Association designed to increase the number of women pursuing STEM degrees in higher education. She serves on the boards of WHYY, Delaware County Community College’s Educational Foundation, the Urban Affairs Coalition and the Forum of Executive Women.
