UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Graduate Exhibition starts this week! This is an excellent opportunity to stay informed of the latest research, innovative designs, visual and performance art happening at the University.
Please consider browsing the Exhibition submissions to learn more about the amazing work of our graduate students.
The exhibition features five distinct categories showcasing Penn State graduate students’ research and creative accomplishments: Research Presentations; Design; Visual Arts; Video; and Performance.
The Visual Arts Option of the Graduate Exhibition will be on display from March 25 through April 17 in the HUB Gallery at University Park. Everyone is also welcome to the opening Gallery Walk from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 25 to meet current visual arts graduate students and learn more about their studio practices. The exhibition's visual arts option is designed for students required to create studio work as a part of their graduate degree program and gives candidates the opportunity to demonstrate the significance of their ideas and creative research to jurors from outside of their field who score the works and award prizes.
The Performance Option is open to all graduate students who are pursuing graduate degrees in the performing arts. These students include those in the School of Visual Arts for whom performance art is the focus of their graduate work. The Performances will be held in person at the Recital Hall at the University Park campus at 7 p.m. March 25.
Exhibition award winners will be announced during the week of March 28.
