Applications open for Accelerate to Industry Immersion Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Graduate School at Penn State invites applications from graduate students and post-doctoral researchers interested in careers in industry to participate in the Accelerate to Industry (A2i) Immersion Week. The week-long program will be held at University Park from May 8-12. The application deadline is March 26.  Students can apply for the program here.  

Accelerate to Industry Immersion Week helps graduate students develop the business, leadership and communication skills that companies seek in new employees. The intensive experiential program is designed for late-stage graduate students and postdoctoral researchers interested in pursuing non-academic careers. Sessions are highly interactive and led by industry professionals, career development experts, and Penn State alumni. 

Participants engage with subject matter experts and such as leadership and teamwork, project management, communicating with non-technical audiences, personal branding, entrepreneurship, and managing global relationships. 

The program kicks off on May 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Hintz Family Alumni Center with a professional networking reception for students and industry professionals.
