UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School is accepting nominations, including any required reference letters, now through Sept. 27 for its annual graduate student and faculty recognition awards. Award recipients will receive both a monetary and physical award to acknowledge their accomplishments and will be either recognized at the Graduate Student Awards Luncheon or the Faculty and Staff Luncheon in the spring.
Students are encouraged to self-nominate for awards but should first contact their program for college-specific guidelines or earlier deadlines and discuss the application with their adviser prior to applying. Faculty and staff are also able to nominate students for any awards.
Faculty award nominations may also be submitted by current graduate students, faculty and staff. Those interested in submitting a nomination are encouraged to reach out to their college graduate education office for important information, attachments, and nomination links.
Award recipients are selected by the Graduate Council Fellowships and Awards Committee that comprises members of the University graduate faculty. Forty graduate students and three graduate faculty members received recognition awards in the 2023-24 academic year.
Additional information, for both the student and faculty awards, may be found on the Fox Graduate School website. Please note that monetary awards vary per award, per year. This information is provided to the recipients.
