Paul Harris, associate professor of education (counselor education), is principal investigator of a project, “DESE — School Counseling Grade-Level Expectations and Big Ideas” that has been awarded $121,454. The project is part of a larger, four-year contract with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The purpose of the project is to revitalize and advance the state school counseling classroom curriculum and to create a national, evidence-based exemplar that aids school counselors in promoting equity, access and justice in schools.
