Students, staff and faculty members from Penn State's College of Education share recent research and career achievements.

  • Nkenji Clarke, a doctoral candidate in counselor education, has been selected as a 2022-2023 Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) Leadership Fellow. She will be recognized during the CSI Delegate business meeting and awards ceremony on Friday, April 1.
  • Erica Frankenberg, professor of education (educational leadership and demography) and Karen Babbs Hollett, a doctoral candidate in educational leadership, wrote a guest editorial, “Pennsylvania families need support finding quality, affordable childcare” for PennLive.
  • Karen Babbs Hollett, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Education Policy Studies, wrote a blog post for The School Diversity Notebook, “With the potential for new federal funding for ECE, we need to critically analyze how current funding policies have built on decades of discrimination” for School Diversity Notebook.
