DuBOIS, Pa. – Looking for a new head coach for the first time since the baseball program restarted in 2015, Penn State DuBois athletics had the next man in line already within the program, as Garrett Brown has been named the new head coach for Penn State DuBois baseball.
A former Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) player at Penn State DuBois, Brown has served on the coaching staff under former head coach Tom Calliari for several seasons, not only learning from Calliari a player’s perspective of the game, but also a coach’s perspective. Calliari stepped down as head coach at the end of the 2023-24 season. Brown will now put what he learned to use as he steps into the head coach position.
